This year two eminently deserving causes in Israel will benefit  from the FPJ High Holyday appeal...

Keren b'Kavod, (“The Dignity Fund”) is the social action arm of the Israel Religious Action Centre (IRAC). Amongst other wonderful work, Keren b’Kavod provides food relief for families living in poverty in Israel. A box of non-perishable goods costs 100 N.I.S. (£2O) and will help feed a family for a week.

Keren b’Kavod urgently needs funds to enable it to continue its humanitarian work amongst the poorest and most needy families, whether Israeli (Jewish or Arab) or foreign worker

Kehillat Yozma of Modi'in has a thriving School with six preschool classes. The local authority will no longer allow them to be housed in the existing pre-fab classrooms so a new schools complex is being built. Yozma is struggling not only to raise the money to pay for the buildings but is searching anxiously for funding to equip the classrooms.  Overleaf you will find the shopping list.

These causes are both so deserving we at FPJ were unable to choose between them, and we are appealing to you to give as much as you feel able. You may decide to pick one item and can do so by indicating which item in the box overleaf. Or, your donation can be split between both causes – the choice is yours.

We hope very much that you will choose FPJ as one of your charities this year.
